It is up to you whether you want to experience these scenic charms of mountain and valley, dense forests and lush meadows on foot, by bike or on horseback. Leisure activities: On well-marked hiking trails you can take a deep breath and experience tranquillity in largely untouched nature, a variety of mountain bike trails and cycle paths offer a range of opportunities to get to know our area. The trails lead for the most part on forest roads, forest and meadow paths up and around the Damberg, past inns and guesthouses that invite you to take a break and spoil yourself with regional delicacies as well as good home-style cooking. The nearby Kalkalpen National Park offers further special experiences in almost untouched nature. St. Ulrich lies directly on the edge of the romantic town of Steyr. The Steyr town square is considered one of the most beautiful historic town centres in Europe.
