Garsten was granted market rights in 1958. In summer you can splash about, have fun and relax in one of Austria’s largest and most beautiful outdoor leisure centers. Facilities: outdoor swimming pools, a 50-meter tower slide, a wide chute, a 3-meter diving platform, soccer fields, a beach volleyball field, a ping pong table and beautiful grass areas to sunbathe. The promenade along River Enns makes for great walking, cycling and inline skating. Culture-minded guests will love the old convent, the demo mill in Mühlbachtal and the nail smithy in Dambachtal.
