Gaflenz - a sunny gem in the foothills of the Alps in Upper Austria. It lies in the middle of a region that offers interesting discoveries in addition to varied landscapes, many adventure opportunities and cultural offerings. Gaflenz lies at 482 metres above sea level and is best known for the Forsteralm skiing area.

A popular destination is also the mountain church "Sankt Sebald" at the Holy Stone, a place of pilgrimage with an eventful history and a magnificent panoramic view. The Sebaldus Pilgrimage Trail is new. A long-distance hiking trail in 4 day stages.

In Gaflenz, everyone can find " his way ", from the lover of easy hikes and circular routes to the friend of steep climbs.

With the climbing hall 6a, climbing fun is guaranteed for the year. The Gaflenz open-air swimming pool guarantees cooling off on hot summer days.
