The landmark of Obermühl, the old granary, also served as a toll house along the Danube and was built in 1618 by Baron Carl Jörger.
The massive building on the banks of the Danube, the granary, a Renaissance building dating from 1618, is considered a landmark of Obermühl and was originally two storeys higher. When the banks of the Danube were regularised, the lowest floor - at that time an inn - was filled in. The building is now privately owned.
