The rock formations on the steep and wooded banks are impressive. In total, an area of around 25 hectares of forest is under protection here, which is characterised by its sometimes extreme site conditions. Stunted sessile oaks that barely grow more than seven metres high bear witness to the tenacity that trees have to display here in order to survive on the slopes. The ravine forest area between the so-called "rock towers" is particularly steep. In the lower section of this slope, there is a mighty stream of boulders in the forest, consisting mainly of sycamore, ash and a few lime trees **Project "Revitalising spiritual places of power", Eferding deanery** [ Contact ](#ttgCollapseKontakt) ---------------------------------- **Predigtstuhl** Hartkirchen 4081 Hartkirchen --- **Contact person** Gemeinde Hartkirchen Kirchenplatz 1 4081 Hartkirchen Phone [ +43 7273 8956 ](tel:+4372738956) E-Mail [gemeinde@hartkirchen.ooe.gv.at](#mailto) Web [www.oberoesterreich.at/hartkirchen](http://www.oberoesterreich.at/hartkirchen "New window") --- **We speak the following languages** German [ Opening hours ](#ttgCollapseOeffnungszeiten) ------------------------------------------------ - open to the public [ Arrival ](#ttgCollapseAnreise) ---------------------------------- [ Suitability ](#ttgCollapseEignung) -------------------------------------- - Suitable for groups - Suitable for seniors - Suitable for single travelers - Suitable for friends [ Accessibility ](#ttgCollapseBarrierefreiheit) ------------------------------------------------- Please get in touch for more information.
