The sites are located directly **on the shore of** **[Lake Hallstatt](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/hallstaettersee.html?utm_campaign=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_source=tourdata)**, overlooking the 7,000-year-old World Heritage site and salt-mining town **[of Hallstatt](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/hallstatt.html?utm_campaign=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_source=tourdata)** with its picturesque town center.
