An attractive range of physical activities was created for people of all ages. More than 130 stations invite visitors to get active in nature. The stations were developed based on sports and exercise science principles and offer a variety of challenges in five core areas of motor skills: coordination, strength, speed, flexibility, and endurance. The concept for this activity area, nestled in nature, was developed by sports scientist Dr. Roland Werthner, co-founder of Motorik Dreams GmbH. The Motorikpark® Ansfelden is part of the “ ” initiative “Sportstrategie OÖ 2025” and was built with financial support from the State of Upper Austria, the City of Ansfelden, and the European Union. As an attractive and free fitness facility, the park fosters a lasting love of physical activity and raises awareness of health and fitness. The Motorikpark® Ansfelden is a true milestone in terms of sports infrastructure in our city. Nestled in the greenery of this beautiful area, it inspires people to be active in the fresh air. Its location right on the Krems River offers many advantages: easy access, a central location, and a meeting point for walkers and runners. Its proximity to the Ritzlhof School allows for a diverse range of activities for all age groups. With the Motorikpark®, our city’s largest local recreational area—the Kremspark—is truly enhanced. A major highlight of the Motorikpark is the integrated wheelchair course, which enables people with physical disabilities to improve their agility and self-confidence in overcoming the barriers of daily life. The wheelchair course is, of course, also suitable for pedestrians. Another real highlight is the “Kraft Pavilion” athletic station. If you’re coming by car, there is parking available right at the park’s main entrance, behind the Nettingsdorf Fire Department. (Parking Lot 1) Since March 1, 2026, the fee here has been €6 per car. Parking fees apply daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will end on November 30, 2026. Please note: The parking lot at the Ritzlhof School will no longer be available to visitors as of April 1, 2026! If you’d like to travel by public transportation, we recommend the Nettingsdorf train station. It’s just a stone’s throw away.
