His codriver survived. He was 22 years old, a charismatic guy and liked as friend an musician. After the tragic accident his teacher Schlosser Ebner built a shrine and the Society for traditionals castumes called d'Stoaklüflta from St. Gilgen helped to Mount it on the rocks. In 2009 looking after the shrine was deemmed too dangerous so they built a new one and put it next to the road,. In 2014 it had to be renovated again. To this they Rolands friends push the car horn when they are driving by the place of his tragic accident. On his 25th death day his friends threw a Party to remember him.
