He lived at that time in Mondsee 242, today Duke Odilo-Straße 38 - Steinkoglerhaus. In the 1930s, after the death of her husband, the then owner had set up a craftsmen's hostel to make ends meet financially. The community also contributed to the housing at the time. What exactly happened on December 14, 1934 and why Mr. Franner was traveling in this rough area, will probably not be clarified. The entry in the Book of the Dead states: Josef Frauner, died on 14.12.1934 at 4:30, crashed, died on transport, funeral on 17. 12. 1934. It could be clarified that a spelling error happened during registration. The right name is Franner.
