Cross in the Zeller Ache

Mondsee am Mondsee, Oberösterreich, Österreich

The Story is that the Stone was moved in the middle of the Zeller ache during a Flood. And August Meindl told the tail that the cross was put up there for princess Wrde and the pathway was named Helene after her daughter.

Mrs Elisabeth Mayrhofer remembers that the cross had to be remade in 1938. Mr Holub did that and supposedly said "Everyone is Always Screaming Hilter, Hitler! But no ones Things About god"

More Floods and more thunderstorms had their way with the cross and it had to be repaired by August Meindl multiple times.

Edi Cinibulk wrote the following lines which where put on a Plaque next to the cross.

The Little cross on the Helenen pathway protects what is near and dear to our hearts.
 The Plaque doesn't exist anymore.
