Marriages take place on Saturday mornings and every working day during office hours. It is recommended to book an appointment for the marriage in good time (at the earliest one year before the intended wedding). Special weddings take place on Friday and Saturday afternoons from May to September. On request, the Steyr Registry Office can arrange for a musician (for the organ or keyboard available in the castle chapel). Four pieces of music are played to liven up the wedding ceremony musically as well as to create a festive atmosphere.
