At the age of 7, I moved with my parents to Feldkirchen b.M., where I grew up on a small farm. My interest in nature developed from an early age - the forest and meadows were my favourite playgrounds and "research sites". I have lived in Gundertshausen in the municipality of Eggelsberg since 1972, where I soon became interested in the Ibmer Moor. I am married and the mother of 2 sons and 1 daughter and am happy to have 3 grandchildren. Professional background: I completed a commercial apprenticeship at Gasthof Mairoll in Oberndorf and then worked in sales for many years: Internal and external sales in the Schnaitl private brewery with sales management Store manager at UNI Markt Eggelsberg Management of the Seelentium Wellbeing Region Upper Innviertel Association and Regional support for healthy communities in the Braunau district on behalf of the state of Upper Austria I have been active as a moorland guide in the Ibmer Moor nature reserve since 2006. Since July 2012, I have been guiding visitors through the atmospheric Ibmer Moor in the evening on nature theatre tours and schoolchildren act as researchers or bird experts on my tours. In 2012 I was honoured by Naturschauspiel.at as "Nature Actress of the Year".
