The square in front of the largest church in Austria offers an impressive backdrop for numerous events. Apparent opposites in peaceful harmony: the neo-Gothic St. Mary’s Cathedral is the largest church in Austria. The solitaire of a four-star hotel was placed to the side of it, as part of the architectural restructuring of the square and its concrete skeleton corresponds with the striking facade of the cathedral. Two existing buildings renovated (restaurant, conference centre and a wine bar) complete the ensemble on Herrenstrasse.
