A conscious effort is made to maintain a simple lifestyle and in the spirit of St Francis and St Clare, the footsteps of Christ are followed and life is shared in its various aspects: Community, prayer and work. The roots of the construction of the Jägerstätter Chapel lay in the treatment of refugees from the Mauthausen concentration camp at the end of the Second World War.
