Put yourself and your whole family back in time and discover fantastic primeval animals. Giant insects, flying dinosaurs, mammoths and much more await you in the adventure park Urzeitwald.
Lifelike and child-friendly, for viewing, attacking and having fun. 25 adventure stations promote movement, dexterity and convey interesting information for young and old in an entertaining way.
Also water games are waiting for you, please do not forget to bring changing clothes and towels with you.

From July to 5 September daily (in good weather) from 10.00 a.m. - 06.00 p.m..

Accessibility / arrivalby car
from Salzburg:
exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: Turn right at the cross Pass Gschütt and follow the Gosausee Landstaße. After about 5 km you reach the Urzeitwald, directly opposite the reservoir Gosau.
from Linz:
exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: Straight ahead at the cross Pass Gschütt and follow the Gosausee Landstaße. After about 5 km you reach the Urzeitwald, directly opposite the reservoir Gosau.
by bus (irregular on Sundays):
from Bad Ischl: bus in direction to "Gosausee" (Lake Gosau), get of at the bus stop "Hintertal b. Gosau Freilichtmuseum". The primeval forest is directly on the right side.
from Rußbach: bus in direction to Gosau, at the bus stop "Gosau Abzweigung Pass Gschütt" change to the bus in the direction to Lake Gosau and get of at the bus stop "Hintertal b. Gosau Freilichtmusuem". The primeval forest is directly on the right side.
