The climbing wall Kamper leads to a height of 1,394 m and offers trails of varying difficulty.
The climb of the Kamper wall offers a large number of well-secured, lightweight (III - V) and moderate (VI - VIII) routes. With 77 trails and 172 pitches safe the area has grown in the last twenty years a considerable dimension. The special feature of the Kamper wall is the wall height with many large multi-pitch routes and the related alpine character. The beginnings of climbing activities date back to the 40s and 50s. The Gesäuseerschließer Seltelberger has inter alia here already left his mark. A new upsurge of climbing activities, with many first ascents, began in the mid 80s. Osen Werner, Klaus Lehner, Tom Devil, Hans P. Schreiber Huber, Thomas Rinner, Emmerich Waller Berger, Heli Steinmassl just to name a few, are kletterbare lines examined. The catalogers of the routes have hedged with much effort and use the routes. They give no guarantee of the stability of the retaining hooks. Each climber is responsible for the review and the proper use of the hook. The descriptions are listed here with much effort, to the best of my knowledge and belief together. They give no guarantee for accuracy and completeness.
