Operetta festivals, opera, musicals and cabaret. Located in the Steyrerstraße, our theatre has a long and eventful history with a cast list that features famous names like Paul Hörbiger, Marcel Prawy, Otto Schenk, Peter Alexander, Udo Jürgens and Adolf Dallapozza. The Golden Gate Quartet" delighted the ears of the listeners just like the "Brazil Tropical" delighted the eyes – and these were but a few examples from the long list of celebrities. Ensembles, such as the Vienna Burgtheater or the Vienna Volksoper gave guest performances here, as did the Linzer Landestheater. There are numerous anecdotes associated with events in the theatre of Bad Hall that keep a rich and unique tradition alive. The operetta festivals have attracted thousands of visitors since 1987 and since 1998 musicals have also become firmly established in our house. From 2000 to 2005 the programme featured our own productions of Mozart's operas.
