Our Story --------- For many generations, the “**Fascher-Mühle**” has been a well-known name in our area. From the time of Maria Theresa comes the imperial decree under which our ancestors operated the mill at Sandbach. They were allowed to keep a tenth of the ground grain as their remuneration. From this, deliciously crispy black bread was baked, which they sold and which made the “**Fascher-Müller**” well-known far and wide. Until the end of 1994, Fritz and Christine Spernbauer ran the mill and the black bread bakery. Since 1995, **Gerhard and Beatrix Spernbauer** have been operating the bakery. As a master baker and master miller, Gerhard has since been able to expand the range of the family business to include many breads, pastries, and fine baked goods.
