The new ABS "Anton Bruckner Salon" is a space for exchange between interested people, Bruckner researchers, visitors to Windhaag, guests from all over the world, film teams, etc. Suitable for small cultural events (max. 25 people) . At the age of 17, Bruckner was not that much older than the pupils and was sent to Windhaag in the Bohemian Forest as a trained school assistant, where he enjoyed previously unknown freedoms - but also had to fulfil and perform a wide range of tasks and services, which involved hardship. An information room in the old school, which is only semi-public but completely open to the public, is a reminder of this. In other words, Bruckner's workplace in Windhagen, which, at the instigation of owner Irmgard Quass, is now a Bruckner learning and memorial centre in one and whose exhibition space was redesigned by Anton Bruckner 2024 .
