The Almtaler Natur Brauerei in the Moserei in Scharnstein in the Almtal valley!

An idiosyncratic building complex made of used ocean-going containers:

That is the Moserei. The Almtal Natur Brauerei (brewery) www.naturbrauerei-almtal.at and art (www.wireart.at) unfold under its roof.

In addition, the Mühldorf cultural association uses the location for events - so the Moserei offers plenty of space for a diverse range of cultural activities in the Almtal. A lot of new things are happening in the containers - what remains safe is the invitation to linger as long as you want in a pleasant living room atmosphere. How to get to Natur Brauerei Almtal in Scharnstein:

We recommend travelling by public transport!

By train: From Wels railway station, take the Almtalbahn (line 153) in the direction of Grünau im Almtal to the Scharnstein-Mühldorf stop. The stop is about 500 metres away on foot. Numerous connections from Wels railway station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101)

By bus: OÖVV bus route 533 Gmunden - Scharntein - Grünau - Almsee; bus stop Scharnstein Mühldorf Ort. This bus stop is approx. 300 metres away.

with the Traunstein Taxi Route 52 from Laakirchen or from Vorchdorf with the Traunstein Taxi Route 70 to the stop Schanrstein Ortsmitte (approx. 10 minutes on foot), please call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 1691 or order on the otaxi app.

Travelling by bike: The connection to the R 11 Almtalradweg cycle route from Almsee via Scharnstein to Pettenbach or the Traunvierteltour from Pettenbach via Viechtwang and St. Konrad to Gmunden is only 5 minutes away.

on foot: From the centre of Scharnstein it is approx. 10 minutes walking distance via the promenade, with beautiful views of the mountains and the Scharnstein ruins!

by car: West motorway A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A9 - exit Ried/Tr. - Voitsdorf - Pettenbach -Scharnstein Inntal motorway A8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A9 - WestautobahnA1: Munich - Salzburg - Regau - Gmunden - Scharnstein - Mühldorf junction in the direction of Grünau im Almtal, turn off at the warehouse and follow Kalkofenstraße to the Moserei.
