Situated directly on the edge of the forest, the inn offers in Waldzell, in addition to typical Innviertler kitchen also still overnight possibilities. The inn is an ideal starting point for hikes in the Kobernaußerwald or the Marienwanderweg. The inn is run as a family business in the fourth generation. It has always been rebuilt, renovated and enlarged, but the name "Sauereiwirt" still exists today and is widely known.
