K. Postwirt Weissl and feel like an emperor!** This traditional inn is located between Vöcklabruck and Lake Attersee, in the centre of Timelkam. At the K. u. K. Postwirt Weissl, good food and fine drinks have always ensured an excellent lifestyle. The inn already existed during the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and was a favourite haunt of the European aristocracy. At that time, the great-granduncle of the current landlord was K. u. K. postmaster and landlord of the inn "zum Erzherzog Albrecht", whom he was personally allowed to entertain. Franz and Christa Weissl took over the inn in 1984. In 1998, the restaurant was extensively renovated and since then it has once again shone in the splendour of the K. u. K. Salzkammergut country house style. Tradition and, above all, hospitality are particularly important to the innkeepers. So stop by the K. u. K. Postwirt Weissl in Timelkam, enjoy good food and fine drinks and feel like an emperor... In May 2018, son Mathias took over his parents' business and continues to run it with high quality and great attention to detail.
