 Experience the history and unique character of the abbey up close on one of our guided tours—with fascinating insights into the abbey church’s brewery and traditional beer production.

 The “Cistercians of the Strict Observance,” commonly known as “Trappists,” have always had a certain air of mystery about them. It’s no secret, however, that the monks of this contemplative order were sometimes quite skilled at brewing beer. A guided tour of the brewery followed by a beer tasting is a fascinating experience, not just for beer connoisseurs.

Duration: approx. 60 minutes

For groups of 10 to a maximum of 50 people, by advance reservation.
