Afterwards, pop into the world-famous Café Zauner and enjoy a classic Zauner snack. #### **Day 2 – Cycle tour to Lake Hallstatt, approx. 50 km** A relaxed start to your cycling holiday: cycle along the River Traun to reach Lake Hallstatt. A short ferry crossing offers what is perhaps the most beautiful view of the world-famous village of Hallstatt – nestled between the lake and a steep mountain face. Tip: Treat yourself to a leisurely break on the lakeshore and soak up the scenery – especially early in the day, there’s an almost magical atmosphere over the water. #### **Day 3 – Cycle tour to Lake Wolfgang, approx. 40 km** This varied cycle tour takes you from Bad Ischl along idyllic paths towards Strobl. You’ll cycle on along the picturesque southern shore of Lake Wolfgang to Abersee, accompanied throughout by stunning views of the crystal-clear water and the surrounding mountains. A particular highlight is the ferry crossing from Abersee to St. Wolfgang, where you’ll experience Lake Wolfgang from a new perspective. In St. Wolfgang, there’s time for a stroll through the historic town with its famous market square. The route then takes you back to Bad Ischl at a leisurely pace via the Wolfgangsee Cycle Path and along the romantic Ischl lakeside path. Tip: A visit to the Salzkontor in St. Wolfgang is well worth it – regional specialities and fine souvenirs here make for the perfect treat. #### **Day 4 – Cycle tour of Lake Langbath and Lake Traun, approx. 50 km** This cycle tour takes you from Bad Ischl through peaceful valleys and shady woodland to the idyllic Vorderen Langbathsee – one of the quietest and most unspoilt lakes in the Salzkammergut. The route continues towards Traunsee, where the landscape opens up and impressive views of the Traunstein and the vast lakeshore await. Tip: If you prefer a more leisurely pace, combine the cycle route with a boat trip across Traunsee – stunning panoramic views included. #### **Day 5 – Weißenbachtal Loop, approx. 40 km** This varied cycle tour starts in Bad Ischl and initially takes you on a leisurely ride along the Weissenbachtal Cycle Route into a peaceful, unspoilt landscape. The route continues along a gravel track towards Weißenbach, which offers a genuine gravel-riding experience and delights with magnificent views. At Weißenbach am Attersee, you’ll switch to a charming gravel route before the view opens up onto the turquoise-blue Attersee.
