The Christmas market in Gosau is one of the most idyllic Advent markets in the Salzkammergut. The most famous Advent market is the Wolfgangsee Advent and is one of the highlights in the Salzkammergut. Craftsmanship is shown and emphasised at the Meisteradvent in Bad Goisern. In Hallstatt itself, the traditional Christmas market is open for one day on the market square.
