At **the Pyhrn-Priel Mountain Advent**, the Advent markets on the weekends between **November 28 and December 20** invite you to stroll, sample treats, and take a moment to reflect. Traditional crafts, regional delicacies, and festive music accompany you through this special time of year. An impressive example of regional culture is the historic **Niglo Procession** **on December 5**. This custom, which dates back more than 150 years, is recognized as **part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage**. Around 30 characters parade through the festively decorated alleys and streets—including angels, the Nigoloherr and Nigolofrau, a night watchman, the Klaubauf, and the Habergoaß.
