Already during the ascent you can enjoy the beautiful winter landscape below you. From the **mountain station** of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car you walk under **section III** of the cable car towards the southwest. After you have passed a few huts, a small but steep ascent follows. Then you continue eastwards until you reach the **[Heilbronn Chapel](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/en/oesterreich-poi/detail/48310006/heilbronn-chapel-at-dachstein-krippenstein.html)**. Now go down a few meters on the left and then turn right. When you reach the top of the hill, the trail leads you slightly left.
