The "western summit" of the Braunberg belongs to the municipality of St. Oswald. The Braunberghütte is not only visited by many hikers on the Nordwaldkammweg trail and used for overnight stays, but also by many returning guests who have taken part in one of the numerous cultural events. Every year there is a midsummer bonfire, a mountain mass, an open-air cinema (!) and singing and song evenings as well as many concerts.
