Upstream of the stream, Hierzenbergerstrasse brings us to the factory premises. Between the buildings, the Helenenweg begins on the right along the Ache (path no.7). The Erlachmühle snack station is at the end of this beautiful section of forest path. We continue along the stream and cross Vogelsangstrasse. The hiking trail now leads past the Frischling guesthouse. We walk north on the dirt road. In Punzau we reach the street. Here we leave the hiking trail. We stay on the road. At the first group of houses a sign points to the left to Pension Leidinger. We follow this and hike slightly uphill on the road. Our route leads past the Hubertus Chapel and the Stadlhansl estate. On the hill we have a great view of the Zellersee and Mondsee. From Pension Leidinger we can enjoy the view of Mondsee on the way downhill. At the first intersection, we do not go in the direction of Erlachmühle but to the right. After the motorway underpass we are in the Gaisberg settlement area. In front of the sports field, hiking trail no.35 turns left to the Zellerache. We follow this forest path and come to Hierzenbergerstraße, which we follow to the right. At Haus Schönmühle we turn left into Ludwig-Angerer-Straße and continue to Rainerstraße, which leads back to the center.
