Along the route to the sports centre you will find the Pestkreuz, the Stadlmann-Kreuz and the Reitweg wayside shrine (the oldest in the parish). You then walk uphill along the Reiternbach stream to the Richterkreuz, a rare wayside shrine with three stone frames. Through a mixed forest you come to Waldfelder Straße, where the Himmelbauer granite pillar stands. Once you reach the village of Freudenthal, you have the opportunity to stop for refreshments at the Gassis Heuboden inn. The way back takes you via the village of Waldfeld, past the Wansch wayside shrine and the Grünberger Kreuzstock to the gallows. After the Robischbauer chapel you return to Weitersfelden.
