The ski tour to the large tidal creek, the highest mountain in the Dead Mountains, on the Prielschutzhaus - Kühkar and exit via the Goldkar. The Great Tide Pool is a fantastic ski mountain in good weather conditions in the spring. In mid-winter there due to the steepness , especially under the bread case lip, high avalanche danger and severe icing of the summit ridge .

ascent:
From the parking Polsterlucke in Hinterstoder take the summer trail No. 201 for Prielschutzhaus ( about 2.5 hours).

From Prielschutzhaus first go mostly on aperen path No. 260 towards large tidal creek , at the latest at the fork ( Klinserschlucht - Kühkar ), the skis are strapped ( about 1,530 m). Now it is all about beautiful , beautiful , free slopes upwards towards the Kühplan bread case lip . Depending on snow conditions , the last 100-200 meters of altitude you have to strap on the skis on the backpack and in the col ( about 2,300 m ), possibly up to crampon .

Now continue to the right, much easier on the broad ridge to the pre-peak rise ( 2,420 m - Depot ) . From here on in the up and down, across the summit ridge on wech ended the imposing peaks of the large tidal creek with stunning views down the surrounding peaks up out into the lowlands. On a clear day you can see to the Bohemian Forest.

Departure:
First, the same as the rise of bread false Arte . At the exit of the bread case Charte by the east-side channel to the upper Kühkar , special caution - high snow board risk ( Difficulty III-IV, 200 vertical meters).

From Kühkar turn right along the cliffs in splendid descent at around 1,900 meters . Now you do not drive straight towards Prielschutzhaus , but keeping to the left along the tidal creek - south ridge . First go up the wide edge , which turns into a distinctive groove down . In a beautiful departure and always en rocks along downhill until one occurs about 90 meters at a bend in the forest road . Not go further here , but stay on the road depending on snow on skis or on foot in the Polsterlucke and back to the starting point . (Caution - the descent of the rock limited road after snow in the spring cases often have significant snow board and falling ice hazard! )
