The daughter parish Grieskirchen-Gallspach was founded in 1953 under Pastor Josef Schramm. Previously, the area had been incorporated into the parish of Wallern, but as early as 1931, Superintendent Jakob Ernst Koch IV established regular services in Gallspach.

Ernst Oskar Ziegler was assigned as the first pastor to serve the parish. However, he died early in 1954 and Father Pohl became emeritus in 1960. In all those times until his death in 1981, the curator of the first hour, Mr. Adolf Kraus, was the soul of the parish - always available, always ready to talk and always available for any service.

After a long construction period, the consecration of the Friedenskirche could be celebrated on June 24, 1962.

During these years, many spa guests, especially from Germany, visited the spa town of Gallspach. Thus, numerous visitors came to the church service celebrations. However, due to changes in the health guidelines, the number of patients in the Zeileis Institute decreased continuously in the last years of the last century.

For this reason, a relatively small congregation now celebrates Sunday services. These are mostly held by the respective preacher of the Sunday service in the mother parish Wallern. As a result, the service in the Friedenskirche starts at 10:45 am.
