# The most beautiful chalets and hideaways in Upper Austria

Chalets in Upper Austria - where nature, design and tranquillity become one
===========================================================================

Immerse yourself. Switch off. Take a deep breath.
If you visit Upper Austria, you will discover places where time passes a little slower. Places where the scent of wood is in the air, the view sweeps over forests, lakes or mountains - and everything suddenly becomes very simple. Whether in the middle of the Bohemian Forest, on the shores of Lake Wolfgang or in the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel: In these chalets and hideaways, the real combines with the special - and nature becomes a quiet luxury.

For those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers
---------------------------------------------------

Between the Kalkalpen National Park and the Stodertal valley, chalets such as the **Dietlgut Natur Resort**, **Dilly's National Park Chaletdorf** and the **Almresort Baumschlagerberg** invite you to take a real break. Wood meets clean lines, open fires meet starry skies. Those who love the forest will find the perfect balance of naturalness and comfort at **Ramenai - the Böhmerwaldlerdorf** or the **Goiserer Chalet**. And if you are looking for a view of the summit, the **Seeklause in Bad Goisern** or the **rustic log cabin in Gosau** are just the place for you.

For connoisseurs and spa lovers
-------------------------------

**When luxury becomes quiet, space is created for the essentials.**

At the **Private Spa Villas Geinberg**, you can bathe in warm thermal water right next to the natural pond, while exclusive design meets private spa at the **INNS Holz Chaletdorf in Schöneben**. Particularly unusual: the **earth houses of Villa Bergzauber** - round, earthy, cosy - or the stylish [**Chalet Kremstalblick**](https://www.chalet-kremstalblick.at/ "Link https://www.chalet-kremstalblick.at/ öffnet sich in neuem Fenster")where minimalist design meets expansive nature. Fine cuisine and architecture come together at **Das Lamprecht** in Schärding - a baroque townhouse with gourmet cuisine that shows that luxury can also be historic. And if you want to breathe history, stay at the [**Villa Flora**](https://villaflora.at/de/die-villa/ "Link https://villaflora.at/de/die-villa/ öffnet sich in neuem Fenster") **in Bad Goisern** - a lovingly restored historic villa that combines tradition, craftsmanship and modern elegance. Between old walls, fragrant wood and views of the Goisern mountains, you will feel like you've stepped back in time - in no hurry, but with every comfort.

For explorers and families
--------------------------

**Inspiration can be found where nature is allowed to be a child again.**

At the **IKUNA nature resort**, guests stay in tipi suites under the open sky, while the **tree hotel on the treetop path** in Kopfing brings adventure directly to the treetops. The **chalet village of** **Blockhausen** in the Mühlviertel region stands for craftsmanship and retreat in wood, while the **huts at the Au an der Donau campsite** surprise with their cosy simplicity. And those who love water will find several favourite places at Mondsee and Wolfgangsee: the **flat house Traumstation**, the **Fischergut Lodge Wolfgangthal** or the elegant **chalets on the lake** - located directly on the shore.
